OUR SIMPLE 3 STEP PROCESS TO GETTING STARTED
STEP 1. An initial consultation to discuss your Bookkeeping requirements and the type of reporting you require. We are happy to handle all of your day-to-day Bookkeeping, or you can do some of your imputing yourself. Our fee structure is based on your requirements.
STEP 2. Sign an agreement between MBK and the Third Party Provider, supplying your data to us. This agreement gives your provider permission to send your bank statement data electronically to us. It is totally secure, and they do not have access to your data. It usually takes around 10 days before we start receiving your data. During this time we set up your system or convert your old system.
STEP 3. When your data arrives it is coded to your general ledger and your bank accounts are reconciled. A set of reports are then produced, showing the performance of your business. Some of our standard reports are: GST Return, Profit and Loss, Cashflow and General Ledger. We also handle Wages and PAYE for some of our clients

if you are just starting out and have no idea what you require, or have a little or no understanding of Bookkeeping.

It has been over 20 years since the last GST changes. GST is changing to 15% on 1st October 2010.
If you have accounting software that hasn't been upgraded for a long time, make sure you contact your software provider and upgrade now. A lot of the older programmes won't handle the GST changes. For more information go towww.ird.govt.nz/gst
